Atlanta Streets Alive simply could not be a success without the help of our fierce volunteers.

VOLUNTEER for SUNDAY, APRIL 20th — WEST END

VOLUNTEER for SUNDAY, MAY 18th — PEACHTREE STREET

Descriptions of Volunteer Roles

Set up crew: Set the stage for opening the street to feet. Includes setting up water stations, helping move barricades into place, and changing out event signage.

Activity Partner Check-in: Paired with the bike angels, help our Activity Partners (salsa, bike polo, poets, etc…) make it to their location with ease.

Survey Extraordinaire: Gauge the impact of this event on people’s choices and lives.

Counter of Folks: Determine how many people come out to the event. This helps us in planning for future Atlanta Streets Alives.

ABC Tent Helper: Answer questions about ABC, ASA, and biking in Atlanta, sign up new members (and sell t-shirts), provide snacks to other volunteers and police, check in volunteers, etc.

Bike Angel: The first shift will escort activity partners to their assigned locations after they visit the Activity Partner Check volunteers. You’ll be assigned to a specific segment of the route. Later in the day, Bike Angels keep water coolers full, police hydrated and fed, and help anyone in need along the route.

Teardown Crew: Help with break down (tables, signs, barricades) and loading supplies into vehicles. Cleaning up well means we leave the community in great shape!
