Sponsor 10th Anniversary of Atlanta Streets Alive

Atlanta Streets Alive was founded by the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition in 2010 in order to reclaim Atlanta's streets for people using sustainable transportation modes - walking, biking, skating, in wheelchairs. It's inspired by open streets projects all over the world, but especially La Ciclovía Bogotana of Bogotá, Colombia. Atlanta Streets Alive was created with the support of partners including Atlanta District 2 Councilmember Kwanza Hall, the Atlanta Regional Commission, Central Atlanta Progress, and other Atlanta nonprofits and businesses. Volunteers helped organize the first few years of activations.

2020 marks the 10th anniversary of Atlanta Streets Alive! To celebrate and propel this initiative into the next decade we are hosting a 10th-anniversary celebration—in the streets of course.

Join us for a block party--some might say a mini Atlanta Streets Alive--complete with food trucks, live music, and games to celebrate the power our streets have to connect us to each other and to our city.
